BCS Projections, Week 14: Boise State Broncos Waiting To See How Far Arkansas Falls

The Arkansas Razorbacks lost to No. 1 LSU on Friday and will wait to see how far they fall. The Boise St. Broncos will likely move up by one spot if the Razorbacks fall four or more spots.

The Boise St. Broncos could move up in the Week 14 BCS rankings, but depends on how far the Arkansas Razorbacks fall from the No. 3 spot. The Razorbacks played the No. 1 LSU Tigers close early in Friday's game before being routed, 41-17. Arkansas now has two losses.

Last week we saw a two-loss Oregon Ducks team fall from No. 4 to No. 10, which could be an indication that Arkansas will fall several sports. If Arkansas falls at least four spots that means the Broncos will move up to No. 6, but they won't move any higher than that this week. Brian Murphy of the Idaho Statesman sees just one scenario for the Broncos to make a BCS bowl game:

Only chance for Boise State to BCS: Houston loss, TCU out of Top 16 AND blowout in Okla/OklaSt game. Even then, still a longshot

But for this week, let's take a guess at the rankings:

1. LSU
2. Alabama
3. Oklahoma State
4. Virginia Tech
5. Stanford
6. Boise State
7. Houston
8. Oklahoma
9. Oregon
10. Arkansas
