College Football Rankings, Week 13: Harris Poll Moves Boise State To No. 8, Houston To No. 7

The Week 13 Harris Poll (PDF) has followed the AP and Coaches polls by moving the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Arkansas Razorbacks to Nos. 2 and 3, respectively, behind the unanimous No. 1 LSU Tigers. But at No. 4, the Harris Poll voters concluded that the Stanford Cardinal was the No. 4 team. The Virginia Tech Hokies moved up four spots to No. 5.

The Oklahoma St. Cowboys took a four-spot plunge to No. 6 after their loss to the Iowa St. Cyclones on Friday. The 11-0 Houston Cougars rose three spot to No. 7, a huge boost for the team's BCS chances. The Boise St. Broncos re-entered the top 10 by taking over the No. 8 spot.
