The Air Force Falcons finish their regular season with a trip to California to play the Fresno State Bulldogs on Saturday.
Air Force is already set to play in the Armed Forces Bowl, accepting a bid to play in Dallas after its win over the Hawai'i Warriors on Friday. Saturday's matchup can still do a couple things, however. Not only can the Falcons ensure a finish above .500 with a win, but they can also spoil Fresno State's chance to win at least a share of the Mountain West Conference title. Cody Getz leads the Air Force rushing attack to 336 yards per game. In that win against Hawai'i, the Falcons did not attempt a pass.
At 8-3, Fresno State guarantees at least a share of the Mountain West championship with a win. The Bulldogs have rolled through four straight wins by the average score of 47-23 since losing to Boise State on Oct. 13. Junior quarterback Derek Carr has thrown 32 touchdowns to just five interceptions, while Robbie Rouse has rushed for 1,362 yards. Fresno's high-powered offense ranks 22nd nationally in total yards.
Date/Time: Sat., Nov. 24, 1:30 p.m. MT
TV: NBC Sports Network
Odds: Fresno State is favored by 16.5 points
