College Football Schedule 2012: Colorado, Air Force prepare for season finales

The Colorado Buffaloes and Air Force Falcons will each wrap up their 2012 regular season schedules in Week 13.

After holding off Hawaii in Week 12 to become bowl eligible, the Air Force Falcons will try to put the finishing touches on their strong 2012 campaign on Saturday afternoon against the Fresno State Bulldogs.

Air Force opened the season with a frustrating 2-3 record after suffering three narrow losses, but has been able to reel off four wins over their last six games to officially punch its ticket to a bowl game. By remarkably not using a single pass attempt to beat Hawaii, the Falcons became the second team since 2004 to win a game without throwing the ball once.

Also set to wrap up their regular-season slate on Saturday, the Colorado State Rams will hope to close out their frustrating year with a victory over New Mexico. The Rams have been able to win a pair of games over Hawaii and UNLV over the last four weeks to bump their record to 3-8, and will face a Lobos team that currently sits at 1-6 in Mountain West play.

Desperate to halt a devastating seven-game losing streak dating back to late September, Jon Embree's Colorado Buffaloes will also conclude their season, with a Pac-12 game against Utah on Friday. The Buffaloes edged Washington State for their only win of the season more than two months ago, but have yielded at least 34 points in every single conference game in 2012.
