The Air Force Falcons trail the Wyoming Cowboys, 27-21, after three quarters at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie on Saturday night.
Air Force trailed, 24-14, after the first half and allowed a field goal on a 59-yard opening drive by the Cowboys. Jon Lee's 2-yard touchdown run near the end of the third would bring the Falcons back to within six points, capping a 95-yard drive in 12 plays.
Falcons quarterback Connor Dietz is 5-of-7 passing for 110 yards and two touchdowns so far in the game, with both touchdowns coming in the first half. Dietz also added 80 yards on the ground, getting an average of 8 yards each on ten carries. Running back Cody Getz had 41 yards on ten carries.
Wyoming has outgained Air Force 416-292 in the game, with both teams turning the ball over once. The Falcons have managed just 12 first downs in the game, compared to 24 for the Cowboys.
