Air Force trails Wyoming at halftime of Saturday's game, 24-14. It's been a rough day for Air Force offensively. Gaining over 100 yards total offense seemed to be a struggle for Air Force, which finished the half 164 total yards, while Wyoming put up 324 total yards in the first half.
Wyoming struck first with a nine-yard touchdown touchdown run by Shaun Wick. Connor Dietz found Dontae Strickland down the middle for a 41-yard touchdown pass, Air Force's first score of the game. Late in the second quarter, Dietz connected with Ty MacArthur to the ride side of the field for a 46-yard touchdown.
Of the Cowboys' three touchdowns, two of them came on the ground and in the air. There was Wick's score earlier. Jason Thompson and Chris McNeill connected on a short touchdown pass, and later in the quarter D.J. May scored on a one-yard run.
At the end of the second quarter, Stuart Williams kicked a 42-yard field goal.
Both teams are coming off losses in their previous games, but Wyoming has just one win on the season.
