The Air Force Falcons head to Laramie this Saturday for a Mountain West Conference matchup against the Wyoming Cowboys at Turf Of War Memorial Stadium.
Air Force (2-3) is hoping to rebound from a 28-21 overtime loss to Navy last Saturday. Their high-powered rushing attack -- led by senior running back Cody Getz -- is the second most potent in the nation, averaging an eye-popping 389.6 yards per game. The Falcons shouldn't have much trouble racking up yards and points against a Cowboys defense that is allowing 228 rushing yards and 33.4 points per game.
Wyoming (1-4) is coming off an overtime defeat of their own, a 35-28 loss to Nevada. The Cowboys will lean on sophomore quarterback Brett Smith to take advantage of a shaky Falcons defense. Smith, who missed the team's third game with a head injury, has thrown for 1177 yards and 12 touchdowns on the season.
The over/under for Saturday's game opened at 60 and has shifted to as high as 61.5 at some sportsbooks, according to Oddsshark.com.
Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. MT.
