Air Force Vs. Idaho State: Falcons Boasting Three-Pronged Attack At Tailback

Going into a season-opening match of the season against the Idaho State Bengals, Air Force will have their work cut out for them to keep themselves in the game offensively. Fortunately for the Falcons, they are currently riding high on a group of three tailbacks who have been tearing it up in the preseason.

Wes Cobb, Cody Getz and Jon Lee have all been doing very well for the Falcons, putting together a committee running approach that even saw the official depth chart listing all three as the starter. The three of them bring different styles of running game to the table, which helps the Falcons mix it up with their 'Three Headed Monster':

Cobb is a solid all-around player who can wear down a defense. Getz is the home-run threat who has transformed into a good inside runner and was one of the Falcons’ best players in August. Lee is an intriguing talent who has the look of a future star but needs to become more assignment sound to carve out a bigger role.

If all three can stay hot against the Bengals, Air Force will have a far better chance of taking a 1-0 record from their first game.
