College Football Recruiting: Air Force Policy Prevents Announcement of Recruit Names

The Air Force Falcons announced on Wednesday that the school will not be releasing the names of recruited student-athletes until they arrive on campus in the summer. NCAA rules prevent Air Force coaches and administrators from discussing new recruits until acceptance of appointments to the United States Air Force Academy.

Falcons head coach Troy Calhoun is hoping to build another rushing offense powerhouse in Colorado, and he's quoted in the school's announcement.

We've had tremendous support from our administration and staff with the recent commitments of our recruiting class. Our coaches work diligently to identify and educate outstanding young men of the challenging standards at the United States Air Force Academy. Our charge and our purpose is clearly conveyed- develop leaders of character for our country- while still playing competitive college football.

For now, Air Force fans will just have to wait for official announcements on the newest additions to the Falcons.
