Johnson and Wales Vs. Air Force Final Score: Falcons Win 83-53 Against NAIA Team

The Air Force Falcons defeated NAIA opponent Johnson and Wales by a score of 83-53 on Tuesday night to push their record to 8-4 on the season.

The Air Force Falcons defeated NAIA opponent Johnson and Wales by a score of 83-53 on Tuesday night to push their record to 8-4 on the season. Air Force was positively dominant in the first half, scoring the game's first 17 points while taking a 34-3 lead roughly midway through the first half. The two teams played essentially even from there, with Johnson and Wales outscoring Air Force 50-49 through the remainder of the game.

The Falcons shot 48 percent from the field during the game and made a season-high 13 shots from three-point range. They held Johnson and Wales to just 31 percent shooting and forced the Wildcats into 22 turnovers, dominating the small Denver-based school.

Four different players scored in double-figures for Air Force and 14 players scored for the team overall on a night when many of the team's starters were able to rest. The Falcons are now 8-4 on the season, and have two more games before they begin their conference schedule against Boise State on Jan. 14.
