The Week 1 AP college football poll was released today and the Air Force Falcons again comes in the others receiving vote categories with 11 points which is a decrease from last week where the Falcons received 14 votes, but that could related to playing an FCS team.
The Boise St. Broncos who defeated then No. 19 Georgia Bulldogs were rewarded by voters moving them up to the No. 3 spot and they are still holding onto their pair of first place votes. The other Mountain West team that is in the rankings are the TCU Horned Frogs who fell from No. 14 to No. 25 after being defeated 50-48 against the Baylor Bears.
The Falcons do get a chance next week to move into the polls as they do host No. 25 TCU at home this Saturday, however their future opponent Notre Dame dropped out after losing to the South Florida Bulls.
