TCU Vs. Air Force Final Score: Horned Frogs Defeat Falcons, 35-19

Late in the third quarter, Air Force Falcons head coach Troy Calhoun decided to sit starting quarterback Tim Jefferson, though it was not over an injury. Connor Dietz took control of the offense and led the Falcons to two scoring plays, but the Falcons still fell to the TCU Horned Frogs, 35-19.

Parker Herrington kicked a 22-yard field goal early in the fourth quarter, but it took until the final seconds of the game for another touchdown. Connor Dietz converted a 3rd-and-4 by finding Ty MacCurthur for 19 yards. He immediately followed with a 33-yard pass to Drew Coleman. Dietz then picked up four yards on two plays, scoring a touchdown on a one-yard run.

Air Force's offensive highlight of the game was a reverse to wide receiver Jonathan Warzeka, who then passed it to Zack Kauth for a 32-yard touchdown in the third quarter.

TCU showed no lasting effects from their 50-48 loss to the Baylor Bears last week. Sophomore Casey Pachall completed his first 11 passes and finished 20-of-25 for 206 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Matthew Tucker was impressive during the game, escaping tackles and bowling over defenders. He had 16 rushes for 95 yards and two rushing touchdowns.

Next week, TCU returns home for a game against Louisiana-Monroe. Air Force takes next weekend off before facing Tennessee State.
