The Air Force Falcons came out throwing on Saturday afternoon, but their first drive stalled just on the other side of the 50-yard line. The TCU Horned Frogs took advantage of this by starting on the Falcons' 49-yard line and taking it to the end zone nine plays later.
Air Force quarterback Tim Jefferson put the ball in the air four times on the first drive, completing three passes for 30 yards. He, as expected, also rushed four times for nine yards. However, he wasn't able to do anything once the Falcons entered into TCU's side of the field. He ran for a loss of three yards on fourth down.
