TCU Vs. Air Force: Odds, Predictions

This game is a big deal for Air Force as they are hosting a ranked team at home and are trying to beat a ranked team for the first time in a long time. There are many reason for this game to be close on the Air Force side they have the experience with their offensive unit led by quarterback Tim Jefferson and running back Asher Clark. TCU also has experienced offensive players and historically their defense has been very good, and last weeks loss against Baylor was not good, but people are willing to give TCU the benefit of doubt. TCU opened up as a two-point favorite, but the line has shifted ans is currently a one-point favorite over Air Force.

Now onto the expert predictions from around the web:

Scout.com Staff:

What Will Happen: TCU will be back to being TCU. Air Force will come up with several good drives, and it'll keep the game close through the first half, but the Horned Frogs aren't going to come up with a second straight dud. The worst thing to happen to Air Force was TCU's Baylor game, and from all reports, this is a very, very focused and ticked off Horned Frog squad, and it'll show.

TCU 34, Air Force 17

Mike Huguenin, Rivals:

TCU, which hasn't started 0-2 since 1999, has won seven of the past eight in this series and has won eight consecutive Mountain West road games. Air Force's defense was gashed for 184 rushing yards by FCS member South Dakota State last week.

TCU 30, Air Force 24

Will Harris, ESPN Insider:

TCU Horned Frogs at Air Force Falcons (+2.0): TCU has already been exposed, but it's not done proving that this year's young team isn't even close to last year's squad. A veteran Air Force team has been waiting for this game all summer, as it's the Falcons' last shot at the Big East-bound Frogs.

Air Force 31, TCU 24

Mitch Light, Athlon Sports:

He's not Robert Griffin III, but Air Force quarterback Tim Jefferson is very good. It wouldn't be a huge shock if TCU is 0-2 after this week's action. That said, I'm picking the Frogs to bounce back.

TCU 28, Air Force 24

For my prediction on this game I will be leaning more toward Air Force since they are at home and TCU is missing two key players. It should be a close game, but my score prediction will be Air Force 24, TCU 21
