The 2011 preseason AP college football poll was released earlier today and while Air Force was not in the top 25 there were five voters who did put Air Force in their ballot.
Thanks to the time wasting invaluable website PollSpeak.com that tracks each AP ballot and comparisons can be run against the weekly poll or against other voters to track extreme voters.
The five voters who put Air Force in their preseason ballot are as follows:
• Jon Wilner of the San Jose Mercury News has Air Force at No. 19
• Scott Wolf of the Los Angeles Daily News has Air Force at No. 23
• MIke Hlas of the Cedar Rapids Gazette has Air Force at No. 24
• Joe Giglio of the News and Observer of Raleigh has Air Force at No. 25
• Sal Interdonato of the Time Herald-Record has Air Force at No. 25
Air Force opens up against South Dakota so it is unlikely they will pick up any more votes and a possibility they will lose a few due to playing a FCS team.
