Colorado Vs. Wyoming Recap: Cowboys Pull Away In Second Half

The Wyoming Cowboys outscored the the Colorado Buffaloes by 11 in the second half to take home a 65-54 road victory on Friday night. The Cowboys considerably outshot the Buffaloes, who just weren't able to find their shooting stroke throughout the night. Wyoming was led by senior center Adam Waddell, who scored 17 points and snatched five rebounds, and junior forward Leonard Washington, who tallied 16 points and seven rebounds.

The Buffaloes picked up good games from sophomore guard Andre Roberson (10 points, 12 rebounds) and freshman guard Spencer Dinwiddie (16 points, four rebounds), but their offense abandoned them for most of the night. The Buffaloes shot a meager 38% from the field and only 25% from three, compared to 48% and 35%, respectively, for the Cowboys. The Buffaloes kept themselves afloat in the first half with their free throw shooting, but finished the night shooting only 63% from the field.

The Buffaloes will next take on the Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners on Monday, Dec. 19.
