The Toledo Rockets want to prepare for the 2011 Military Bowl by practicing in conditions similar to what they will experience while at R.F.K. Stadium in Washington, D.C. That is an outdoor stadium, so Toledo decided to move all of its practices from the indoor facility at Fetterman Training Center to the Glass Bowl, the team's home stadium, reports Zack Silka of the Toledo Blade.
According to Weather Underground, the temperature is expected to reach the mid to upper 30s and winds will reach into the low teens. The players are likely to miss the snow, which isn't expected to come until the night. But come Dec. 28, the District of Columbia could have snow on the ground. The Air Force Falcons certainly know all about snow.
