Military Bowl 2011 Update: Air Force Ties Game At 21 After Asher Clark TD Run

The Air Force Falcons tied the Toledo Rockets at 21 in the 2011 Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman. Asher Clark ran wide right to get the one-yard touchdown run. On the previous play, Tim Jefferson had tried a quarterback sneak, but he fell short of the goal line. The play was challenged, but, obviously, the referee upheld the call on the field.

A Jonathan Warzeka 16-yard run combined with a 15-yard face mask penalty on the same play put the Falcons in business on the drive. Mike DeWitt and Wes Cobb then pounded the ball on the ground to set up the goal line battle that the Falcons ultimately won.
