2011 Military Bowl Score: Toledo Takes 14-0 Lead Over Air Force

The Air Force Falcons find themselves on the wrong end of the score in the 2011 Military Bowl. The Toledo Rockets just took a 14-0 lead one drive after they missed 47-yard field goal. A touchdown pass and then a long running play after an Air Force turnover have put the Falcons in a significant hole

After the missed field goal, Air Force went three-and-out and fave the Rockies the ball again. This time there was no leaving points on the board. A Terrance Owns 16-yard pass to Kenny Stafford brought a first down after the 3rd-and-10 play. Stafford was wide open in the left side of the play and had no cornerback covering him, waiting for the safety to put his attention on him. David Fluellen then attacked the Falcons defense on the ground,

Owens completed the drive by throwing a 17-yard touchdown pass to Bernard Reedy, who caught the ball in stride before leaving the end zone. The slot receiver sold the play by faking on a wheel play.

Air Force fumbled the ball on the ensuing kickoff and saw Toledo's Adonis Thomas run for a 41-yard touchdown on the next play.
