Air Force will look for its second consecutive win when it hosts Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The Falcons put an end to a two-game losing streak with a dominant 55-34 home win over Wright St. on December 7.
The Falcons are led by junior guard Michael Lyons, who does a little bit of everything on the court. Lyons is averaging a team-high 18.3 points and is also grabbing 5.7 boards per game. Lyons has steadily improved throughout his time at Air Force, as he has raised his scoring average each year.
While Lyons is the only starter to average in double-figures, Air Force has numerous other guys that contribute on the offensive end. Four other people average at least eight points, with Mike Fitzgerald leading the way at 9.8 ppg.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff is in the midst of a six-game road trip that will see it visit Michigan, Akron, Depaul and Cincinnati after the game in Colorado. The Golden Lions are led by senior guard Savalace Townsend, who is averaging a team-high 18.6 ppg.
