The Air Force Falcons don't have a better record than the Wyoming Cowboys. They don't have a better conference record either. But the odds makers don't appear to care, setting Air Force as the 11-point favorite in this Saturday's game against Wyoming.
Air Force comes into the game having won twice in a row, and our partners over at Odds Shark like their chances of making it three in a row. The Falcons have the nation's fourth-best rushing offense in terms of yards per game, and they're facing a defense that routinely gives up 30 points a game. Unsurprisingly, the game's over/under has been set pretty high, at 60 points, so they're essentially expecting a shoot out.
Wyoming may have a solid 5-3 record, but they've actually been outscored this season. Three of their five wins came by a combined nine points while they lost consecutive games to Nebraska and Utah State by a total of 68 points at one point in the season, leaving them with more points allowed than points scored.
