Air Force Vs. Army Score Update: Falcons Rally To Take 21-14 Lead Heading Into 4th Quarter

After an anemic offensive performance throughout the first half, the Air Force Falcons were unstoppable in the 3rd quarter and jumped out to a 21-14 lead over Army. The Falcons scored on all three of their possessions, converting two FG's and scoring two TD's,

Air Force QB Tim Jefferson rebounded from a tough first half performance to score both TD's for the Falcons in the 3rd quarter. Jefferson has rushed for 39 yards and also added 122 yards passing. On the defensive end, the Falcons forced two fumbles in the 3rd quarter. Air Force took advantage of these turnovers, scoring 10 points off the two errors by the Black Knights.

The Falcons defense also demonstrated toughness against the run, as it didn't allow Army to generate any momentum or rhythm. After allowing 14 points in the first quarter, the Falcons have held the Black Knights scoreless over the following 30 minutes.
