Air Force Vs. Army Score Update: Army Maintains 14-0 Lead

Turnovers have been the story of the first half in the matchup between Air Force and Army, as the two teams have combined for three turnovers in the opening 30 minutes. The Black Knights have forced two vital fumbles that they have used to help build the 14-0 halftime lead.

Both Air Force fumbles have come at crucial moments this game. The first fumble came from Air Force QB Tim Jefferson, who fumbled at his own 18 to setup a touchdown run by Larry Dixon. The second fumble occurred when Air Force was putting together its best drive of the first half. Unfortunately, junior FB Mike Dewitt fumbled when the Falcons had moved the ball down to the Army 28.

The score could have been even worse had it not been for a key stop by the Air Force defense. With Army driving down to the Air Force 1, the Falcons defense made three straight stops to keep the Black Knights out of the endzone.
