The inner-state, inner-conference rivalry renews this Saturday as the Air Force Falcons (6-5, 2-4) square off against the Colorado St. Rams (3-7, 1-4).
For the Falcons, this game represents a chance to finish the season on a high-note, having won three of their last four, last week besting the UNLV Rebels 45-17. Colorado St., meanwhile, is looking to avoid the Mountain West Conference cellar after losing six straight games.
The odds-makers at Odds Shark had the Falcons opening as a 10 point favorite in the contest, but after last week's impressive showing against the Rebels, coupled with the Rams' struggles against the TCU Horned Frogs, the odds seem poised to shift even more heavily in Air Force's favor.
According to Odds Shark, the betting site 5Dimes already has the Falcons as much as a 16.5 favorite in Sunday's contest. Going into the game, the only statistical advantage Colorado St. currently possesses over Air Force is passing yardage -- which means next to nothing given Air Force's run-heavy offense.
