Air Force Falcons Vs. UNLV Rebels: Falcons Run Wild, Win 45-17

The Air Force Falcons (6-5) edged back over .500 as they beat the UNLV Rebels (2-8) impressively, 45-17.

Leading 24-10 at halftime, the Falcons opened the game wide in the third quarter, tacking on 14 uncontested points. The Falcons were led on offense by running back Asher Clark and senior quarterback Tim Jefferson.

Clark rushed for a stunning 169 yards, a career high mark for the senior from Georgia, including a 67-yard touchdown trot. Jefferson added his own 81 rushing yards and rushing touchdown to 128 passing yards and a touchdown. Zack Kauth led the Falcons receivers with 90 yards on 5 receptions.

Altogether, the Falcons rushed for 394 yards while holding the Rebels offense to under 250 yards on the day. Quarterback Caleb Herring threw for only 41 yards on 14 attempts, also tossing a pick to senior Falcon Anthony Wright.
