Air Force Vs. UNLV Score Update: Falcons Jump Out To 14-3 Advantage

Air Force, which needs to win both of its remaining games to become bowl-eligible, has used its impressive rushing attack to jump out to a 14-3 lead over UNLV early in the second quarter. The Falcons have dominated the possession of the football and have gained 204 yards, while the Rebels have been limited to only 43 yards.

QB Tim Jefferson has been excellent both rushing and passing the ball, as the senior has rushed for 70 yards on 7 attempts and completed 3/4 for 61 yards. Junior RB Wesley Cobb has scored both TD's for the Falcons and has rushed for 20 yards.

The Falcons defense has been strong against UNLV, which has struggled moving the ball. Tim Cornett rushed for 22 yards on five carries for UNLV. Sophomore QB Caleb Herring has completed just 1/3 for four yards.
