Bowl Projections 2011: Boise State Loses Out On BCS Game, Could Head To Poinsettia Bowl

From a slight chance at making it to the BCS National Title game to a slim chance of making any BCS bowl game, the Boise St. Broncos have lost the most this weekend after joining the ranks of the undefeated. The Broncos lost to the TCU Horned Frogs, 36-35, on a missed field goal and saw their BCS chances destroyed.

With the National Title game, the Sugar Bowl, the Fiesta Bowl and the other BCS games likely out of reach, where will the Broncos play this postseason. Jason Kirk at SB Nation predicts the Poinsettia Bowl, which is played on Dec. 21. The Broncos' opponent? The Nevada Wolf Pack. As we should recall by now, Nevada was the team that dashed the Broncos' chances of playing in a BCS game last season.

We'll get a better idea of the Broncos' bowl position after Sunday's BCS rankings come out.
