TCU Vs. Boise State Final Score: Casey Pachall, Horned Frogs Upend Boise State's Chances At BCS Bowl Game

The TCU Horned Frogs, who saw their BCS chances busted with an opening-season loss to the Baylor Bears, ended the Boise St. Broncos' chances with a 36-35 victory on Saturday evening. Broncos kicker Dan Goodale missed a 39-yard field goal on fourth down as time expired in the game. The Broncos were able to get that far up the field thanks to a pass interference call on an earlier fourth down that was rather generous.

The Horned Frogs led at halftime, 20-14, but quickly saw that evaporate when the Broncos scored two early touchdown in the third quarter. The first happened just second into TCU's opening drive on the second half. Antoine Hicks fumbled the ball and saw Tyrone Crawford snatch it up for a 48-yard touchdown sprint to the end zone. D.J. Harper rushed for a touchdown later in the quarter and Kellen Moore threw a 54-yard touchdown pass in the early seconds of the final quarter.

However, TCU's Casey Pachall put the Horned Frogs up, 36-35, with a touchdown pass and a successful two-point conversion with just 1:05 left on the clock.

The Broncos are now 8-1 and will witness a fall in the polls and the BCS standings.
