Wyoming Vs. Air Force Halftime Score: Cowboys Lead, 12-7

The wind in Colorado Springs has stymied Saturday's game between the Air Force Falcons and the Wyoming Cowboys. At halftime, the Cowboys lead, 12-7.

After each team scored in the first quarter, the scoring died down until the waning second of the first quarter. The Cowboys used nearly 6:30 on the clock for their first score, a Brett Smith one-yard rush. The Falcons answered back with a Mike DeWitt rushing touchdown late in the first quarter.

Nether team has punted all that well, but the Cowboys took advantage of the Falcons' final one of the second quarter. David Baska made just a 12-yard punt, giving the Cowboys just 42 yards to score. Brett Smith found Chris McNeill for a 12-yard reception to start the drive and then finished with a six-yard pass to McNeill to go up, 12-7. Alvester Alexander failed on the two-point conversion.

The Falcons lost quarterback Tim Jefferson to an injury and Connor Dietz has been running the ship. He has attempted one pass, Air Force's only of the game, and saw it go incomplete.
