The Air Force Falcons are sitting at four wins on the year after their shutout performance over the New Mexico Lobos on Saturday. Even though Air Force is two wins shy of bowl eligibility they should reach the six wins to make a bowl game since their last four games are winnable as they take on the Army Black Knights, Colorado St. Rams, Wyoming Cowboys and UNLV Rebels. So, it is possible that Air Force could win out and finish the season with eight wins.
Air Force has already lost to Boise State and TCU on the year so they are highly unlikely heading to the Las Vegas Bowl and with Boise State on path for a BCS bowl game, Air Force is looking to take the Mountain West's second bowl spot.
Here is the bowl projection for Air Force:
San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl, Dec. 21, 2011
Air Force Falcons Vs. Louisiana Tech Bulldogs
