College Football Odds: Air Force Vs. New Mexico

The New Mexico Lobos are hosting the Air Force Falcons at home this Saturday, but they're not likely to stop Air Force's vaunted running attack.

The Air Force Falcons have lost its first three Mountain West Conference games this season, but it hopes to end that streak while visiting the New Mexico Lobos on Saturday. The Lobos have yet to win a game this season, and are simply hoping to bring a victory to the home crowd at University Stadium.

The odds provided by Odds Shark aren't nearly as optimistic, though, as the Falcons open as 31-point favorites going into this weekend's game. This shouldn't be surprising, as the Lobos have really struggled all season long while the Falcons have even managed to be competitive against elite teams like Boise State and TCU.

Despite having a sub-.500 record going into this week's game, Air Force actually boasts the nation's No. 2 running offense, punishing defenses to the tune of over 325 yards per game just on the ground. The team's overall offensive production, 29th in the nation, isn't nearly as prolific, but speaks to its ability to put points on the board. The odds makers have the game's over/under at 63.5 points, and that's a mark that could easily be reached if the Falcons' defense falters.
