2010 Independence Bowl Tickets Still Available (And Good Ones, Too!)

In case any Air Force Falcons fans or Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets fans are interested in making the trip down to Shreveport, La. for the 2010 Independence Bowl, tickets are still available. Fans can buy directly from the Independence Bowl limited sidelines seats for $47. Tickets are available for both the Air Force sideline and the Georgia Tech sideline.

The Independence Bowl also offers a Touchdown Club package that includes:

10 south end zone tickets, 10 hot dogs, 10 soft drinks, 10 souvenir game program vouchers [...], one silver lot parking pass (while supplies last), and a souvenir 35th Anniversary hat.

Sounds like a pretty decent package for $475. If you can get a group of 10 together right now, it would be a steal.

The Independence Bowl will have "The Big Game Show" Team Welcome Party on Thursday, Dec. 23 for those who are in town early. Apparently, both teams will take part in activities that will entertain the crowd.

But if anyone is looking through StubHub!, tickets can be had for as low as $19. Those tickets are in the lower end zone, almost directly behind the goal post. Tickets closer to the 50-yard line are $235 each. A bit expensive, but it's not the $500 for a Champions Suite in Yankee Stadium for the Pinstripe Bowl. Those seats are still a good distance away from the field.

The Independence Bowl will kick off on Monday, Dec. 27 at 3:00 p.m. MT.
