Independence Bowl: Air Force Is Early Favorite Over Georgia Tech

The early lines came out for all of the bowl games and Air Force is an early 2.5 point favorite over Georgia Tech. Both teams could get a boost from injured players that may return for to action for the bowl game. Air Force's running back Jared Tew broke his leg on Oct. 22nd against San Diego State and may be able to return; his diagnosis was that he was to be out for six weeks. The bowl game is just over eight weeks from his injury and could possibly see time.

Georgia Tech has quarterback Joshua Nesbitt on the mend with a broken arm he suffered last month is determined to be back in the lineup for the bowl game. If either of these two players are back in the lineup the line could make a big move. Nesbitt would provide the biggest move since he is the more valuable of the two since he runs the offense, while Tew is valuable, Air Force always has a stable of backs to replace if one goes down.
