College Football Rankings, Week 11: TCU Remains At No. 3 In BCS Standings

The top four positions in the latest BCS standings remained the same, with Oregon, Auburn, TCU and Boise State winning this weekend. Oregon and Auburn control their destinies right now, but Auburn will need to win the SEC championship to get into the BCS Championship game. No. 3 TCU dominated the Utah Utes, 47-7, on Saturday and substantially increased their lead over the No. 4 Boise State Broncos.  TCU has a .926 BCS average to Boise State's .866 average.

Previously No. 5, Utah fell to No. 14 after losing to the TCU Horned Frogs, which might be surprising to many observers. The Utes were outclassed for the entire night and barely staved off a shutout. However, the Utes will have trouble playing in a bowl game on New Year's Day. The LSU Tigers, 8-1, took Utah's spot after defeating the Alabama Crimson Tide (who are the highest ranked two-loss team at No. 12).

Outside of LSU, the other big movers this week were the Stanford Cardinal (from No. 13 to No. 6) and the Oklahoma State Cowboys (from No. 17 to No. 10).

The top 10 BCS teams:

1. Oregon
2. Auburn
3. TCU
4. Boise State
5. LSU
6. Stanford
7. Wisconsin
8. Nebraska
9. Ohio State
10. Oklahoma State
