College Football Rankings, Week 11: TCU, Air Force Move Up In Harris Interactive Poll

In this week’s Harris Interactive Poll, the TCU Horned Frogs and the Air Force Horned Frogs each moved up in the poll. The TCU Horned Frogs moved up one spot to No. 3 and received five first-place votes. Boise State fell to fourth, but did receive nine first-place votes. The Utah Utes fell to No. 15 in this poll as well.

In a recurring pattern, the San Diego State Aztecs had the second most points of all unranked teams with 64. The Air Force Falcons reemerged in the Harris Poll with seven votes.

Overall, there isn’t much to argue passionately over in any of the three rankings released today. Oregon and Auburn are clearly the top two teams in the nation, while TCU and Boise State continue to be BSC busters. One can quibble over how many first-place votes those teams should receive, but there’s no question they are still below the Ducks and the Tigers.

The latest BCS standings will be released later tonight.
