With Boise State’s loss to Nevada, the TCU Horned Frogs took advantage of the situation and moved up to No. 3 in the latest USA Today poll. TCU received three first-place votes. Oregon and Auburn remain in the top two spots.

Both the Ducks and the Tigers each have a game remaining. The Ducks visit Corvallis, Ore. on Saturday, Dec. 4 to decide the Civil War with the Oregon State Beavers. Auburn will play for the SEC Championship against South Carolina that day.

Wisconsin moved up to No. 4 and Stanford made the jump to No. 5. Boise State fell from No. 3 to No. 10. Oklahoma moved up to No. 9 following its victory over Oklahoma State. The LSU Tigers dropped six spots to No. 12 after a loss to Arkansas (who moved up from No. 12 to No. 8). Nevada moved up only two spots to No. 17 after defeating Boise State.

Northern Illinois, West Virginia and Central Florida entered the USA Today poll in the last three spots.

The Air Force Falcons (8-4) received one vote while fellow Mountain West Conference team San Diego State (8-4) had 11 votes.
