College Football Rankings, Week 14: Wisconsin, Stanford In Top Five Of AP Poll; Air Force Receives Votes

As expected, the latest AP Top 25 Poll had three changes in the top five after Boise State and LSU lost over the weekend. Wisconsin moved up one spot to No. 4 and Stanford jumped two spots to No. 5. Both teams humiliated their opponents over the weekend (70-23, 38-0).

Oregon, Auburn and TCU remain the top three teams. The bottom half of the top 10 changed substantially. Ohio State moved up to No. 6 and was followed by Michigan State (formerly No. 11) at No. 7 and Arkansas (previously No. 12) at No. 8. Boise State fell down to No. 9 and the Oklahoma Sooners jumped to No. 10 following its win over the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

LSU dropped to No. 11 after the loss to Arkansas. Nevada moved up five spots to No. 14 after its defeat of Boise State.

Northern Illinois (10-2) and Hawai’i (9-3) entered the top 25 at 24th and 25th, following wins over Eastern Michigan and New Mexico State.

The Air Force Falcons (8-4) received two votes among teams that received failed to make the top 25. Conference teammate San Diego State (8-4) had five votes.
