The latest USA Today Coaches Poll dropped TCU and Utah, just like the AP Poll did. TCU fell to No. 4 while the Boise State Bronocs captured No. 3 in the poll as well. The Broncos received five first place votes, and the Horned Frogs had two.
The Wisconsin Badgers, who demolished Indiana, 83-20, are the highest ranked one-loss team at No. 5. Stanford and Nebraska swapped the eighth and ninth spots after victories over Arizona State and Kansas. The 9-1 Nevada Wolfpack moved to 18th after a 35-34 victory over Fresno State late Saturday night. They are the lowest ranked one-loss team. The 8-2 Alabama Crimson Tide are the highest ranked two-loss team at No. 12.
The Utah Utes tumbled to No. 24 after a 28-3 loss to Notre Dame. San Diego State remained on the outside of the top 25 after a loss to TCU, but did receive 20 votes. The 7-4 Air Force Falcons took two votes.
