College Football Rankings, Week 12: TCU, Utah Drop In AP Top 25 Poll

Both the TCU Horned Frogs and the Utah Utes dropped in the latest AP poll. The Horned Frogs edged out the San Diego State Aztecs, 40-35, but then saw the Boise State Broncos jump them for the third spot in the rankings. The Broncos beat up on the Idaho Vandals last Thursday. TCU stands at No. 4 this week.

The Utah Utes were embarrassed by the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, losing 28-3. The Utes dropped 10 spots to No. 25. They face the San Diego Aztecs this coming weekend, which could prove to be a tough game to win.

Oregon and Auburn remain in the top two spots.

Though San Diego State lost to TCU, the 7-3 Aztecs still received 32 votes in this week’s poll. Could a win over Utah put them into the back of the Top 25?

The 7-4 Air Force Falcons did not receive any votes this week in the AP poll, but the University of Delaware, from the FCS division, received one vote for its 9-1 record.
