Arkansas-Pine Bluff vs. Air Force: Falcons host Golden Lions in non-conference play

Air Force continues non-conference play against Arkansas-Pine Bluff out of the Southwest Athletic Conference.

Ron Chenoy-US PRESSWIRE

The Air Force Falcons (6-2) return to action on Saturday afternoon when they host the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions (1-7) at Clune Arena in Colorado Springs, Col.

The Falcons look to bounce back from a tough loss to No. 24 Wichita State in their last game as they continue preparing for Mountain West Conference play while also, presumably, taking care of things in the classroom. The game today is the only game Air Force will play during a 20-day stretch before playing again on Dec. 22 at UC-Riverside.

Guard Michael Lyons make Air Force go, averaging around 20 points, three assists and five rebounds per game. The 6'5 senior also makes more than two three-point shots per game.

The Falcons will try to slow down a pair of forwards for Arkansas-Pine Bluff to make things easier. Junior DaVon Haynes leads the Lions with over 12 points and six rebounds per game. Senior Terrell Kennedy also adds nearly 12 points and four rebounds per game.

The game is scheduled to tip off at 2 p.m. MT with live streaming available on goairforcefalcons.com. The radio broadcast of the game can be heard on AM 1510 KCKK in Denver and AM 740 KVOR in Colorado Springs.
