Air Force vs. No. 14 Florida: Falcons play Gators in Metro PCS Orange Bowl Classic

The Air Force Falcons will look to pull the upset against the Florida Gators in the Metro PCS Orange Bowl Classic.

The Air Force Falcons hope to hand the Florida Gators their second consecutive loss on Saturday when the No. 14 team in the country at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, FL in the Metro PCS Orange Bowl Classic.

The Gators have played some of the toughest defense in the country, surrendering the third fewest points-per-game at 51.3. Florida only allows teams to shoot 35.9 percent from the floor, 13th best in the country.

When the Gators' have lost this season, however, their defense has let them down. The Arizona Wildcats shot 45 percent from the field in their victory against Florida, and the Kansas St. Wildcats shot 29 free throws and out-rebounded the Gators 36-27.

Florida has been one of the best rebounding teams in the country, and Air Force will need to keep them off the offensive glass if they hope to pull the upset. The Falcons offense will also need to play well, as the team has shot 49.2 percent from the field this season, good for 15th in the country.
