The high-powered Air Force Falcons offense looks to keep their foot on the gas when they welcome the Wichita St. Shockers to town Sunday as part of the Mountain West-Missouri Valley Challenge.
The Falcons sport the nation's 19th-ranked offense, are 17th in assists and seventh in field goal percentage, shooting just under 52 percent from the field. The team is coming off a 76-47 win over the Jackson St. Tigers. Senior guard Todd Fletcher paced the Falcons, scoring 20 points and dishing out five assists.
The 6-1 Falcons have scored over 70 points in each of their first seven games. Their lone loss came last week to No. 23 Colorado. Meanwhile, the Shockers come in to Sunday's game with a spotless 7-0 record. That includes wins over DePaul and Iowa to claim the Cancun Challenge tournament title last week. They are led by forwards Cleanthony Early and Carl Hall, who lead the team in points and rebounds.
Tip-off for Sunday's game is set for 3 p.m. MT.
