Air Force vs. The Citadel: Falcons vie for All-Military Classic title

The Air Force Falcons will face-off against the Citadel Bulldogs on Sunday for the All-Military Classic title.

Ron Chenoy-US PRESSWIRE

The Air Force Falcons will square off against the Citadel Bulldogs Sunday at 2 p.m MT in the championship game of the All-Military Classic.

The Citadel have home-court advantage, as they are hosting the tournament at McAlister Field House in Charleston, S.C. The Bulldogs defeated the Virginia Military Keydets 84-76 on Saturday to earn their birth in the final.

Mike Goselle led Citadel with 21 points and 15 rebounds against the Keydets. Marshall Harris III added 19 points and nine assists, while Matt Van Scyoc scored 18 points.

The Citadel, which only won six games last season, turned the ball over 19 times against VMI. Air Force should look to capitalize on Bulldogs' turnovers, which could led to some easy points. The Falcons should not play too agressive, as the Citadel hit 23 free throws against VMI on Saturday, who only shot eight.

Before the championship game, VMI will face the Army Black Knights in the third-place game.
