The Denver Pioneers jumped out to a 20-point halftime lead en route to a 75-50 win over the Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners at Denver's Magness Arena Sunday.
Royce O'Neale compiled a double-double to lead the Pioneers (7-7). O'Neale finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds, and he added five assists, two steaks and two three-pointers. Chase Hallam filled up the stat sheet with 11 points, five steals, four assists, three rebounds and one block, and Chris Udofia pitched in with 10 points, three rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block.
Jeromie Hill was the only UTSA (4-10) player to score in double-figures, contributing 13 points, nine rebounds and one steal. Michael Hale III had seven points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals for the Roadrunners.
The win was the third in a row for the Pioneers. UTSA has now lost four consecutive games.
