Northern Colorado fell to 3-9 on the season on Saturday night after a 86-63 loss to Idaho State.

The Bengals led at the half, 37-25, and used that big run to never be in much danger of a loss for the remainder of the contest. N. Colorado never threatened in the second half and never pulled closer than 70-56 late in the game.

The Bears shot 50 percent from the floor against Idaho State, with forward Derrick Barden leading N. Colorado with 19 points and eight rebounds.
