2012 BMW Championship: Bubba Watson Making Early Move At Crooked Stick

The final round of the 2012 BMW Championship is under way with an absolutely loaded leaderboard. The top 70 players in the FedExCup Standings will be cut down to 30 after today, as the playoffs move on to Atlanta for theTour Championship. The final groups are still warming up on the range, with Phil Mickelson co-leading with Vijay Singh at 16-under.

The course remains soft and the early morning tee times are once again demonstrating that low numbers are available at Crooked Stick. Aussies Greg Chalmers and Geoff Ogilvy are 6-under through his first 14 holes, while Bubba Watson is 5-under through his first 11 holes. Watson is now 10-under for the tournament, six shots back of the leaders. He'll need to get extremely hot on the inward nine to have much of a chance at a top 10 finish. Fortunately for the 2012 Masters Champion, he's in no danger of missing out on Atlanta.
