Idaho Vs. Bowling Green Final Score: Falcons Defeat Vandals, 21-13

The Idaho Vandals are now 0-2 on the season after losing a road contest to the Bowling Green Falcons, 21-13, on Saturday. Idaho lost its season opener to the FCS Eastern Washington Eagles, 21-3.

Vandals junior quarterback Dominique Blackman had a strong game after not playing in the team's first game. He completed 30 of 37 passes for 352 yards. He threw a touchdown and an interception. The touchdown was a 16-yard pass to Marquan Major late in the fourth quarter. That saved the Vandals from going two complete games without a touchdown.

Bowling Green started the scoring on an Anthon Samuel rushing touchdown in the first quarter. Samuel followed that with a 29-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. Quarterback Matt Schilz threw a 15-yard strike to Je'Ron Stokes for a 15-yard touchdown later in the quarter. Schilz finished the game with 24 completions on 35 attempts and 283 yards.

Idaho travels to Baton Rouge next weekend to face the LSU Tigers. Bowling Green (1-1) visits Toledo next Saturday.
