Phil Mickelson had a huge third round at the 2012 BMW Championship by shooting an 8-under par, round of 64 to shoot up the leaderboard to be tied with first alongside Vijay Singh.
During Mickelson's third round he had 10 birdies, including converting four in a row and seven of 10. His round was not perfect as he did have a pair of bogies, but his round was good enough to make him be the favorite going into Sunday.
Singh shot a solid round by shooting 3-under par, but he was hit and miss through the day as he had seven birdies plus four bogies on Saturday. Only four strokes separate the top 11 golfers, and that group includes Tiger Woods who is three back of the lead as well as Adam Scott who is only two strokes back.
