The Colorado Buffaloes earned their first victory of the season on Saturday, scoring a last-minute 35-34 win over the host Washington State Cougars. Two defensive players for Colorado suffered concussions in the game: inside linebacker Paul Vigo and defensive tackle Josh Tupou. Both are listed as day-to-day for the Buffaloes matchup with the UCLA Bruins.
On Thursday evening, Boise State defeated BYU 7-6, but did so without two key linemen: starting left guard Joe Kellogg and starting right tackle Jake Broyles. This was the second straight game missed for Broyles. The status of both linemen is still up in the air for the Broncos' matchup with New Mexico next Saturday.
