Idaho and Wyoming have both failed to win a single game so far in 2012, but the Cowboys were the ones who entered the year with high expectations. Following one of the best seasons in a long time for the team, where they went 8-5 and made the New Mexico Bowl, they have started off with three losses before Conference play has even begun.
Now, the Cowboys will travel to Moscow, Idaho to face off against the Vandals, who are still licking their wounds after a 63-14 loss to the LSU Tigers. They'll need to hold off the solid passing attack that the Cowboys will be throwing at them, led by Brett Smith. Smith has 307.5 yards per game through the air, first in the Mountain West Conference. He missed Wyoming's last game, a 24-22 loss to Cal Poly.
Game time, TV channel: 2 p.m. MT, ESPN3
Point spread: Wyoming favored by 1.5 points.
